BulkAI may collect:

  • User ID and account identifiers

  • Weight and goal weight
  • Activity level
  • Calorie and macronutrient goals
  • Dietary preferences
  • Food logs and nutrition information
  • Weight and progress data
  • Food photos submitted for AI analysis
  • Subscription and purchase status
  • App usage and interaction data
  • Basic technical and diagnostic information when applicable

2. How we use information

We use your information to:
  • Provide calorie and macro tracking
  • Calculate personalized calorie goals
  • Generate food and meal recommendations
  • Analyze food photos
  • Track progress
  • Maintain user accounts
  • Manage subscription access
  • Improve app performance and user experience
  • Diagnose technical issues

3. Third-party services

BulkAI uses third-party providers required to operate the app, which may include:
  • Supabase for authentication, database, and backend services
  • RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
  • Apple for App Store purchases and subscriptions
  • PostHog for product analytics and session analytics
  • AI and API providers used to analyze food photos or generate recommendations
  • Food and nutrition database providers used by the app

These providers may process limited information necessary to provide their services and are subject to their own privacy policies. BulkAI does not sell your data.

4. Food photos

When you voluntarily submit a food photo for AI analysis, the image may be transmitted to a third-party AI service solely to analyze the meal and return estimated nutrition information.

5. Analytics

App interaction information may be collected to understand feature usage, identify errors, and improve BulkAI.

6. Subscriptions

Payments are processed through Apple's App Store. BulkAI does not directly receive or store your full payment-card details.

7. Data retention and deletion

Data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate your account and provide the service.

You may delete your BulkAI account from inside the app using: Plan → Delete Account. Account deletion is intended to remove associated account data, subject to reasonable legal, security, or operational retention requirements.

8. User choices

You may:
  • Update certain profile and goal information in the app
  • Choose whether to upload food photos
  • Manage subscriptions through Apple
  • Delete your account from within BulkAI
  • Contact support with privacy questions

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children

BulkAI is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The Last Updated date will be changed when updates are made.
